There was a reason why I asked about Bastoni’s allegations earlier today. Was told Liverpool are trying to sign Alessandro Bastoni. Now Inter are close to signing John Stones. Interesting. Let’s see if there’s anything in it. 🇮🇹 #LFC

Italy face Belgium tomorrow in the Nations League, and it’s worth mentioning that Alessandro Bastoni offered himself to #LFC through his representatives last summer, but was informed there was no interest in pursuing a deal. #AD (18+)

🚨 EXCL: Alessandro Bastoni is actively being offered through intermediaries to multiple Premier League clubs, including England’s most decorated side Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as Spain’s biggest clubs and Bayern Munich, with the Italy international increasingly determined to pursue a new challenge away from Inter. The 27-year-old remains under contract until 2027, leaving Inter in a strong negotiating position, with any club wishing to secure his signature expected to table an offer worth up to €90 million (£78 million) before the Nerazzurri seriously consider sanctioning a sale.
