Alexis Mac Allister begins his World Cup campaign later tonight as Argentina take on Algeria, and it is worth noting that I can now exclusively reveal that despite being represented by his father, Carlos Mac Allister, the midfielder has made contact in recent weeks with several major agencies, including ROOF, as he explores the possibility of being represented by a more established football agency structure. However, no agreement has been reached with any agency at this stage. The move is understood to be part of a wider assessment of his options ahead of what could be a significant summer transfer window, with discussions remaining ongoing and those close to the situation believing developments could accelerate once his World Cup commitments with Argentina come to an end. #AD (18+)
