Harrison Armstrong transfer from Everton to Forest appears OFF. #efc accepted a £35m bid + gave Harrison permission to travel with #nffc receiving written confirmation - but club ownership have now pulled the plug. Fans’ reaction to potential sale understood to be a major factor

Harrison Armstrong's proposed move to Nottingham Forest is off, as @JPercyTelegraph called. Everton had accepted a bid worth around £40m before their draw with Bournemouth. Yet Armstrong started that game, and wanted to stay. Forest had plans in place for a medical today. Yet Everton called Forest this morning to inform them the move was off. The Friedkin Group eventually decided to block the transfer with fan backlash a factor. David Moyes also never wanted the sale sanctioned.🔵
