Ibrahim Mbaye

Aston Villa are now close to signing PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye. Club-to-club agreement in place for €55m, as @David_Ornstein called. Player terms being discussed. Nasser Al-Khelaifi heavily involved in negotiations. PSG have brought in almost €400m in sales from players they don't consider part of their project. Mbaye viewed as a top talent by the French champions but they can't offer him enough minutes. Liverpool had also held exploratory talks with Mbaye this summer.🇸🇳

Ibrahim Mbaye given permission to formalise his Aston Villa move. €55m fixed fee. PSG consider the deal to be worth €60m. They get €1m in solidarity on top, and there is a sell-on clause worth a guaranteed €4m should Mbaye be transferred again.🟣 https://t.co/NEDPtSgtAR

🔗 FYI: There are STILL some Bundesliga clubs, as well as a number of Premier League sides, keeping a CLOSE WATCH on Ibrahim Mbaye’s situation. However, they are ALL fully aware that the player’s CLEAR PRIORITY is Liverpool Football Club. Despite that, they remain READY to ACT should Liverpool ultimately decide NOT to proceed with a move, with several clubs prepared to IMMEDIATELY HIJACK the deal.

🔗 FYI: Paris Saint-Germain have increased their valuation of Ibrahim Mbaye in talks with Liverpool, despite indicating to Bayer Leverkusen’s senior leadership only days earlier that a deal around €40m (£35m) was achievable before the player chose #LFC. Liverpool hierarchy are aware of those terms, agreed when interest was largely limited to Bundesliga clubs, and believe PSG are now seeking a Premier League premium following interest from English sides. However, this has not affected relations between the clubs, with the immediate priority remaining to finalise an agreement for Bradley Barcola.

🚨🔴 Liverpool have made contact with Ibrahima Mbaye’s new agent Jorge Mendes. Mbaye also has proposals from Bundesliga clubs — giving priority to #LFC project. Deal was close with Leipzig but collapsed after Diomande-PSG off. Talks will follow, as @FabriceHawkins reported. https://t.co/4DFqcIdazE

🚨🇸🇳 Ibrahim Mbaye can also leave Paris Saint-Germain soon with talks taking place. Liverpool spoke to his agent Mendes and Mbaye likes #LFC project but the valuation made by PSG currently deemed as too high. 🎥 https://t.co/TRHbIZILbh https://t.co/ZcXidzZA8z

The player is very keen on joining the Reds. ❤️🤝🏻 Club-to-club discussions have now started between Liverpool FC and Paris Saint-Germain to understand the conditions of a potential deal. However, NO official bid has been submitted as of now. 💣👀 Paris Saint-Germain are open to selling Ibrahim Mbaye this summer, but want a package worth around €50m, with at least €40m guaranteed as fixed fee. 💰💥 Talks are currently at an early stage, with Liverpool FC now assessing the financial conditions before deciding whether to proceed with an official offer. One to keep a close eye on. 👀🔴

While, LFC are offering €50m package with €40m guaranteed. Huge difference in valuation. 🚨💰 Liverpool FC are NOT expected to advance with the deal as things stand, and are exploring alternative solutions. Club will only return for Mbaye IF Paris Saint-Germain lower €65m package demands. 👀🔴 Discussions between Liverpool FC and PSG are currently only for Bradley Barcola, deal close but structure of the deal yet to be finalized. €140m is the expected figure. 🚨🇫🇷

🚨 Being told Ibrahim Mbaye has asked his agent to “push for Liverpool”. #LFC

🚨 The Voices tell me Richard Hughes worked through the night to get the Mbaye deal over the line. Negotiations lasted three hours and he’ll be a Liverpool player by Friday. #LFC https://t.co/6pFzLYptgk

🚨 Liverpool’s bid for Ibrahim Mbaye is IN. ✅

#LFC 🔴 🚨 Liverpool remain in talks with PSG over Ibrahim Mbaye, with the winger still on their shortlist for the right-wing position alongside other targets. It would not be a surprise to see Liverpool sign two wingers this summer, particularly if Cody Gakpo leaves the club, Spurs remain interested and the player is open. Just two weeks left in the window, Liverpool are far from done.

#LFC 🔴 🚨 Ibrahim Mbaye really wants to join Liverpool this summer and is asking PSG to consider Liverpool’s proposal, as @KrrishFT reported earlier. Liverpool remain open to signing Mbaye despite the progress of the Yankuba Minteh deal. The French winger remains on their radar. Liverpool want 2-3 more signings as I reported a few days ago.

#LFC 🔴 🚨 Ibrahim Mbaye remains Liverpool’s ideal right-wing target, but PSG’s asking price remains extremely high. PSG want at least €70m for the 18-year-old and could demand even more depending on negotiations. Liverpool have verbally agreed a 5 year contract with Mbaye if the clubs can reach an agreement on the finalised fee. Liverpool continue to explore alternatives, with Minteh and Sarr publicly named among the options considered. The club also remain interested in a star right winger for summer 2027. 🔴

Confirmed by @FabriceHawkins PSG wanted €70m for Mbaye if Liverpool were to sign him. https://t.co/qmrkUuD0oM

Liverpool feel PSG have unreasonably increased thier asking price for Ibrahim Mbaye and have enquired about Yankuba Minteh from Brighton. Our sources say the interest in Minteh is genuine but it's also a ploy to put pressure on PSG to accept a reasonable fee for Mbaye #LFC

🟢Update on the below: Ibrahim Mbaye to Liverpool is now very very very close to completion after positive talks this morning. Possible double medical for Barcola and Mbaye next week (Wednesday) #LFC https://t.co/iOUIf3L3Sr

As we reported last week, Liverpool feel PSG are being unreasonable re their demands for Ibrahim Mbaye. An agreement was very close on double deal (Barcola) but PSG now want separate negotiations for Mbaye. Liverpool close to walking away ❌️ Barcola, however is done✅️ #LFC https://t.co/qsKALbQHlc

Richard Hughes has been told in no uncertain terms by the Liverpool hierarchy to "sort this f*****g mess right now as we're starting to look very amateurish" Ibrahim Mbaye deal back on #LFC

🚨 Ibrahim Mbaye’s agent just left an important meeting with a group of people at a coffee shop in Paris 🇫🇷🗼 One of the restaurant staff 👩‍🍳 randomly contacted us and said #LFC was mentioned in the conversation 👀 The employee was close by and overheard it…💣 https://t.co/1YAD9eBvxt

🚨💣 WAS THE RESTAURANT EMPLOYEE RIGHT ALL ALONG?! 👀🇫🇷 🔥 Hearing talks have RESTARTED AGAIN for Ibrahim Mbaye!!! 🔴 #LFC still TRYING… this window is NOT over 💥⚽🦁 The waiter heard it. The coffee shop meeting happened. Now the rumours are back from the dead. ☕🕵️‍♂️ https://t.co/VGaA1sI96S
