"Misha has consistently maintained that he never knowingly or intentionally used a prohibited substance and did not know how traces of the substance entered his system. Throughout this process he has conducted himself professionally and with resilience during what has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging periods of his career. "We know how much this opportunity to return means to him. Our focus now is on supporting Misha’s reintegration into the squad and helping him resume his career. "Chelsea FC remains fully committed to the highest standards of sporting integrity and compliance with all anti-doping regulations. Mykhailo Mudryk is set to join Chelsea on their pre-season tour, likely in Hong Kong on Sunday. Essentially anti-reporting reporting standards changed and if Mudryk was tested for meldonium today the levels would not have constituted a violation. However, Mudryk accepted the anti-doping violation charges (as they are based on the reportin standards at the time), along with his ban to date, and he is now free to return to football immediately.🇺🇦

Mykhailo Mudryk is drawing interest from several clubs now he's eligible to play football again. Mudryk will finish Chelsea's pre-season tour in Asia and then assess next steps. Player hoping for clarity by mid-August on whether he's staying with the first team, being loaned or even sold. Coventry City are one of the clubs to have shown an interest, but not the only suitor. Chelsea want to assess Mudryk's form/fitness first and then will work with the player to find the best solution for all parties.🇺🇦
