🚨🆕 Nicolo Tresoldi was seriously pursued in Spain. FC Barcelona showed concrete interest in recent days and explored a deal for the 21 y/o promising striker, but Barca were not willing to meet Club Brugge’s valuation of around €50m. Atlético Madrid were also seriously interested, but would have needed significant sales to finance the move. Atlético are now finalizing Jonathan David on loan from Juventus with a buy option. Tresoldi is on Jürgen Klopp‘s 57-player shortlist. A decision on which country he will represent (Germany or Italy) is expected in the coming weeks. @SkySportDE 🇩🇪🇮🇹

Tresoldi is part of Arsenal's long list of monitored forward profiles not under *active consideration. Hearing Barca are now interested should they fail to sign Alvarez.
