🚨 EXCL: Bayern Munich are in concrete contact with Pablo Barquero, the agent of Rodri, after the club’s top hierarchy identified the Manchester City midfielder as their dream target to reinforce the midfield, with key decision-makers believing neither Joshua Kimmich nor Aleksandar Pavlović are currently capable of leading the club to Champions League success. The supervisory board has already sanctioned a substantial financial package to make the transfer happen, with Bayern prepared to offer Manchester City around £50 million due to Rodri’s contract running until 2027, alongside a salary worth approximately £400,000 per week, close to £20 million per year, while Vincent Kompany is also understood to be a huge admirer and wants to hold talks with the midfielder immediately after the World Cup. However, Bayern have yet to receive a positive signal from Rodri or his representatives, with the Spaniard and his camp currently evaluating whether to extend his stay at Manchester City or eventually return to Spain, although the Bundesliga champions have now placed themselves firmly on the table as another serious option.

❗️Rodri’s preference is to join Barcelona over Real Madrid, with both Manchester City and Real Madrid aware of the player’s stance. Barcelona have held a long-standing interest in the midfielder, which intensified following Frenkie de Jong’s injury. The club believe Rodri would be an ideal fit for Hansi Flick’s system, while the player is understood to feel he would thrive in Barcelona’s style of play. Barcelona must now find the financial resources to make a deal possible. An offer in the region of €60–70m could be enough to satisfy Manchester City.

PLAY ON🚨 EXCL: Bayern Munich are in concrete contact with Pablo Barquero, the agent of Rodri, after the club’s top hierarchy identified the Manchester City midfielder as their dream target to reinforce the midfield, with key decision-makers believing neither Joshua Kimmich nor Aleksandar Pavlović are currently capable of leading the club to Champions League success.
